San Francisco Bead and Design Show, August 20 - 22, 2010 at the Hotel Whitcomb

Visit 150 artists and merchants who will be exhibiting and selling original designs and beautiful handwork, including beads, jewelry, gemstones, gold and silver, clothing, handwoven textiles, and interior décor.

In the tradition of Samuel Bing’s Salon de l’Art Nouveau, the San Francisco Bead and Design Show gathers traditional, ethnographic, and contemporary handwork into an elegant turn-of-the-century showroom. The finest artists, artisans, and merchants from around the country will exhibit and sell artwork ranging from bead making, jewelry design, art clothing, textile weaving, glass art, ceramics, lapidary, and metalwork.

Bead Fest Texas, October 1-3, 2010 in Arlington, Texas, at the Arlington Convention Center

Bead Fest offers opportunities for consumers to shop for bead supplies at the Bead Bazaar, where vendors from around the world will be selling everything the DIY crafter needs to create one-of-a-kind jewelry. Not into crafting but just love jewelry? For those who don’t want to go the DIY route, there will be designers selling finished jewelry, art and glassworks.

Bead Fest attendees also get the chance to meet popular authors and personalities in the field along with the editors of Interweave’s beading and jewelry making print and online magazines.
